Biking for a cause
A year ago, 3-year-old Kolten set out on a month long journey to raise money for children battling cancer. How did he do it? By riding his bike! "He set his own goal of "200kms and 200monies", said his mother Tasha Davis. Well, Kolten impressed everyone and did even more! By the end of the month he had rode over 371kms and raised over $14,000! That's honestly a very impressive number for anyone to raise to help fight cancer, but a 3-year-old at that? Amazing!
This year Kolten was determined to do it all over again. He decided to teach his little 2 year old brother Keegan how to ride a bike so he could join the biking journey as well. "I'd love to take the credit as a parent teaching him how to ride, but Kolten wanted to make that much more of a difference this year.. so he took it upon himself to teach Keegan", said Tasha Davis.
